Donations are vital to YIP. As a program under Vårdinge By Folk High School, Swedish law limits us to only charge participants for costs directly related to their living costs and materials. This means all other costs (wages, travel for international contributors, telecommunications, postage, paper, rent, etc.) must be covered through donations.

In order for YIP to have a sustainable future, we require the support of donations and grants of all kinds. We currently manage to run YIP only because most of our staff is working for very reduced wages – while doing a full-time job. It is great to see such engagement (and YIP plans go on), but it is not a sustainable way to work.

We are asking 200 companies, organizations and individuals world-wide to each donate EUR 1000 (or a free amount) to YIP. This money will support YIP through covering essential costs and wages. Take part – Donate now!
