Participants Spreading the Word
How to follow YIP online and where to find participants' blogs? The YIP Participants spent a day spreading the word about YIP.

On Saturday the 23 January the YIP Participants spent a day spreading the word about YIP, inviting participants to YIP 2010/2011. We sent out thousands of flyers, personal letters and e-mails.
Social networking
Apart from the paperwork we also focussed on online social media. Coordinated efforts were made to invite people to the YIP Facebook Group and Page, the Twitter account and the other online social platforms. Within a week the Group went from about 300 to over 1000 members, and the Page from about 200 to over 800. We added 50 more followers to our Twitter account, and spread the news about YIP Public Lectures on Vimeo.
