We our now proud to offer our students a "Diet for a Clean Baltic", with fresh local, organic & seasonal produce.

- Fresh lunch from Järna Kafe
Diet for a Clean Baltic is a project from BERAS aiming to increase the number of ecological recycling farms. One part of the project is to create a diet, which goal is to improve the situation of Baltic Sea through environmentally friendly nutrition, based on organic agriculture.
The food is largely biodynamic, fully organic, hyper-local, and seasonal. Once a week meat is served from local biodynamic cows, and the diet is fish-free and non-GMO. YIP Participants are actively engaged in harvesting, preparation and sometimes cooking of the food in their Community Engagement and weekly schedule.
The food is freshly cooked and prepared by Järna Kafe, a local business commited to this diet. YIP is very happy and proud to be able to collaborate with this cafe and diet.
