YIP Future Meeting
The first two days of the Initiative Forum (17 and 18 April 2011) YIP alumni, contributors, participants, organizers and members of the YIP Association and the YIP network are especially engouraged to attend.
These two days will focus on looking at the first three years of YIP and what it can become in the future.
Initiative Forum: Network and Beyond
From 19 to 23 April 2011 the scope and topic of the Forum widens. Now also partner organizations, initiatives, and individuals within the network and beyond are encouraged to attend.
There structure will be minimal – the collaboration maximized. YIP will provide a framework encouraging powerful conversations and dialogue around learning, skill development and capacity exchange. There will be many opportunities for you to take active part:
Initiative Presentations: To open networking among initiatives, there will be a hosted space where representatives of each initiative will present briefly and powerfully (about 2 minutes) what has been done in the past and what is alive within their initiative. During the week there will also be a Market Place with space for initiatives and projects to present and talk more about their the work. Please tell us in advance, if you would like to present your initiative or have a market space.
Initiative Collaboration: In the afternoons we will facilitate a space for issues that are alive within the network. In this hosted space, needs of initiatives can be stated, experience can be shared and new ideas can emerge.
Workshops: There will also be space for participants to offer workshops, such as book binding, dancing, wood carving, storytelling or any kind of experience you would like to share.
Cultural Events: The evenings will be filled with an exciting list of cultural events and participants are welcome to share their talents on stage.
Formal Artistic Exhibition: we invite you to bring paintings, photos or drawings that you would like to show in a diverse exhibit.

When you register, please indicate how you would like to contribute to the initiative forum. (Sharing an initiative, giving a workshop or performance, etc.)
You are also welcome to participate in the Initiative Forum without having your own initiative – come and let yourself be inspired!
