Exploring the soil
Coming to Järna this year we soon realized that the community we entered has far more to offer and receive than visible at first sight. As our feet touched the ground the cool mud slipped between our toes, leaving us with a feeling of ecxitment. Realizing that not much is needed to bring this exchange to life.
Finding the seeds
How to maintain imagination and creativity as a constant in our lives
To us imagination and creativity are a constant and common ground to stand on as we face the nature of surrounding change.
Seeing them as a bridge and a way of connecting both skill and material, people and environment.
Having the freedom to imagine and create as a tool in life.
How to see imperceivable beauty.
There are so many resources available for us to work with, both raw and already formed. But sometimes the form no longer suits the purpose, and because of this the materials no longer get used. Recycling offers the opportunity to continue making things, bringing new life to forgotten objects.
Planting the seeds
We were excited to take the initiative to bring all this together into the CRAFT= COOL event. We hope to share our excitement about these opportunities we see. The YIP participants will be continuous in the Jarna community, but their faces will change every year, bringing new opportunities and possibilities. We would like to celebrate the constant nourishing quality of the community and the changing character of YIP.

We have the rich soil on which the beautiful magasinet stands, giving us the space and opportunity to host this event. But to let the flowers flourish we also need the warmth of the sun.
We need your help to acquire materials of all kind to let this happen!!!
