The International Youth Initiative Program (YIP) is a social entrepreneur training in Järna, Sweden, for youth aged 18 to 25 who want to create a positive social change in the world. – A course in how to bring your own initiative into being.

Organization
YIP is organized by The YIP Association, as a program under the Swedish Folk High School Vårdinge By.
You must be 18–25 years old to apply for YIP. The application for YIP 2012–2013 opens in January 2012. You can be notified when next year's application opens. More info
Participants
YIP 2011–2012 has 40 participants from 18 countries on six continents. The participants are posting online at participants.yip.se.
Open For All: Public Lectures and Open Courses
Most of the weekly courses are accompanied by Public Lectures with the Course Leader.

Last week was easily the most turbulent week I have experienced since my arrival at YIP. Funny enough it coincided with the course theme of `Chaordic Leadership`. What perfect timing for the situation which we were faced with!
